North East Animal Protection Society is completely a non-profitable organization.We live in 21st century having all civilizations and being responsible men we acknowledge animal’s rights and law. Our mission is to stop exercising cruelty and injustice against animals. We encourage everyone to love, care and protect every living being on earth. We work to measure rescue and rehabilitate animals and protect our environment. We provide free medical care, foods & shelters for animals.

happy that the Northeast Animal Protection Society
has been formed and | hope that, in time, it
becomes the most powerful force for the protection
of wildlife, street animals and trees/plants in the
area. When humans protect these two species, they
protect themselves.

We couldn’t have achieved this without the guidance and support of our founder Chief Instructor & prominent social activist & leader Late Abdul Basir Mollah who played a crucial role in developing the initial concept which was essential to our success. MR MEHEDI HASSAN MOLLAH is an animal activist and prominent environmentalist in Northeast India. He is the founder of NORTH EAST ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY established in 2020. The Animal Welfare Board of India ( AWBI ) hereby authorized him as Honorary Animal Welfare Representative at South Salmara District, Assam for Community animals, providing food and medical care and attention to them which reduces man – animal conflict. He is also a member in MANEKA SANJAY GANDHI’S People for Animal. Besides that he is leading NORTH EAST ANIMAL PROTECTION SOCIETY successfully campaigning for animal rights against animal cruelty to protect voiceless souls.He is the author of PLANET OF ANIMALS which is rooted in various disciplines & movements including animal welfare and environmental interconnections.
